ACCORDING TO THE LATEST MOBILE PHONE TECHNOLOGY NEWS, THE DESIGN OF THE IPHONE 8 HAS BEEN LEAKED PRETTY MUCH. THE LEAKS CLEARLY SHOW THE STRIKINGLY BORDERLESS DESIGN LANGUAGE. A FEW DAYS AGO, 3D DESIGN DRAWINGS OF THE NEXT-GENERATION IPHONE APPEARED ON SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES. RECENTLY, THE KK, A TECHNOLOGY NEWS SITES WHICH LEAK HOT NEWS ABOUT TECHNOLOGY ON WEIBO, HAS SHARED A DRAWING AND OTHER IMAGING IMAGES THAT SUGGESTING THE NEW SMARTPHONE IPHONE 8 WILL BE SMALLER IN SIZE COMPARED TO WHAT WAS LEAKED EARLIER.
This leak shows that this device is 137.54mm tall and 67.54mm wide, almost identical to the body size 138.3mm x 67.1mm of the iPhone 7. The thickness of the iPhone 8 is not shown in the drawing.
Accordingly, the screen of the iPhone 8 is a 5,768-inch size and will certainly cover almost the entire front of the device. It seems that the surrounds all around the four sides of the screen are very thin with impressive numbers of 4mm in which more than half are bent 2.5D at the edges. The rest appears to be the frame of the device around the edges.
The drawings show that the speakerphone is quite narrow above the front of the device with the other components placed on either side. These components may include front cameras, microphones, light sensors, asymmetric sensors and possibly 3D sensors.
These components seem to be integrated into the display area. The attached models based on the drawings show that the headset appears as a physical slot on the screen. Cameras and other sensors are not described. One of the simulated images shows that the back of the device does not seem to have a Touch ID sensor, so Apple’s ability to place the Touch ID on the screen is likely to happen.
Remarkably, the image simulating the back of the iPhone 8 shows a dual camera cluster arranged vertically with a LED flash placed between the two cameras. As Ben Bajarin said, splitting the two lenses adds to the practicality and 3D features that better support for a variety of different perspectives.
There is a very similar design of the iPhone 8 that was posted from iDrop News and Benjamin Geskin a few days ago, but it is not clear whether these two images are based on the same source information.
The authenticity of the new generation of iPhone has yet to be confirmed, but many still believe that KK accounts have repeatedly shared accurate details about previous devices
